My name is Courtney. I am a published automotive photojournalist and creative photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have always found myself drawn to the arts, language, and aesthetics. I picked up my first camera about seven years ago, and have not stopped shooting or learning since.
For me, cars have always been more of an art form than a locomotive from point A to point B, and I strive to portray that belief in each piece of work I create. In placing the bulk of my photographic content on automotive subjects, I surround myself with what I love.
While I maintain a focus in automotive photography, I am more than thrilled to shoot portraiture, weddings + elopements, lifestyle, and much more. If you're looking for my non-automotive portfolio, you can find it here: Courtney Mae Photo.
Below you will find a video produced by BMW Group Classic. In it, I discuss what I do, why I do it, and why it's important to me. My hope is that you will not only enjoy the video, but that it will reinforce the passion that I have for both photography and for cars.
